Man rescued after 6 days trapped in his crashed pickup truck in Indiana near Chicago

A man trapped for six days in his wrecked pickup truck in Indiana was rescued by two fishermen scouting for fishing locations. They found him below an underpass along Interstate 94 near Portage, where his vehicle was not visible from the highway. The man, in his 20s and not previously reported missing, was conscious and spoke to his rescuers, indicating he had been trapped since December 20. He was airlifted to a hospital in South Bend with life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred about 31 miles southeast of Chicago.
