Philippines Senator Imee Marcos claims that the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte was pre-planned as officials from the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr refused to testify before a Senate committee. “It is clear that the Philippines helped and truly showed participation. This has been planned for a long time, so we wonder why our officials are denying that this happened,” the elder sister of Marcos Jr says as she presides over the second hearing of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations about Duterte’s arrest.
