1. Dr. Hagelin: If time allows, I'd like to raise a question from the press for Maharishi on his remarks of today-just one question, at least. The question is: Maharishi announced today that he was opening colleges of Vedic engineering, along with colleges of Vedic medicine, Vedic defense, Vedic architecture, etc., in every country. What is Vedic engineering, and how will it be taught in these colleges?

2. Vedic engineering means engineering created or structured or run by Veda. Veda is the Constitution of the Universe. Vedic engineering is the engineering of total Natural Law that administers the infinite diversity of our galactic universe.

3. Vedic engineering is the engineering of engaging all the laws of nature to structure the goal of our thought. 4. Vedic engineering is through soft thinking, not through hard work.

5. The huge dynamism of the galactic universe, has been so organized that, for its infinite dynamism, it never collides, it never fails, it never collapses. That is Vedic engineering, and that is an aspect of the nature of Atma.

6. We want to give to every student this awakening of the Vedic quality of intelligence-total quality of Atma.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi is widely regarded as one of the foremost scientists in the field of consciousness.
