Big update for landowners and farmers in Telangana! The government is bringing a major reform to make land records, registration, and surveys more transparent and faster.
Revenue, Stamp & Registration, and Survey departments will soon be integrated under a single digital system to resolve land disputes and improve services for farmers.
Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy announced that advanced rover technology will be used for modern land surveys across the state.

In a key meeting chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka regarding the 2026–27 budget preparations, the Telangana government revealed major initiatives to modernize the land administration system. The goal is to improve transparency in land transactions and provide better services to farmers and property owners.

As part of this initiative, the government plans to bring the Revenue, Stamp & Registration, and Survey departments under a single platform. A new digital portal will be launched to simplify land-related services, reduce delays, and quickly resolve land disputes.

The government has already purchased 460 advanced rover devices to conduct modern land surveys, with plans to purchase another 400 rovers in the upcoming budget. These high-precision survey instruments will help create accurate land maps and reduce boundary disputes.

Another major announcement is the re-survey of 373 villages that currently do not have proper land maps. The government is also planning to construct permanent buildings for RDO and Tahsildar offices, many of which are currently operating in temporary facilities.

These reforms are expected to bring greater transparency, faster land dispute resolution, and better governance in land administration across Telangana.
