EastEnders' Ian Beale Actor Adam Woodyatt Reveals What's Next After Albert Square Exit |This Morning

He’s best known for playing Ian Beale in EastEnders but now, after 35 years he’s taking a break - swapping the square for the stage. Adam Woodyatt is set to tread the boards alongside Gaynor Faye, in the new play Looking Good Dead, which follows his character inadvertently witness a vicious murder. It’s the longest break Adam’s had from the soap and will mark the first time he’s graced the stage since he was just 13.
