You Can Still Explore: Canoeing A Forgotten Midwestern River

Growing up on a summer camp in Iowa, and working as a counselor for much of my late-teens and early twenties, I spent years on the lakes and rivers of my home state in a banged up Osage canoe. Now that I've returned to tend to some family health issues, I thought I'd take advantage of the river systems, and get my canoe out on the water. Feels wonderful to be back into nature after a long winter, exploring new places, and having some adventure. That there's a recipe for true soul food. Come along with me... it's a big canoe.
