Die 1978 fertiggestellte Industriepädagogische Hochschule ist eine kleine Besonderheit im spätsowjetischen Konstruktivismus / Modernismus. Von einem relativ unbekannten Architekten Nikoloz Lasareishvili entworfen, gibt es nur wenig Information in den örtlichen Archiven, und die inzwischen entfernte Skulptur lässt keine Heroisierung der Arbeiterklasse erkennen. Zudem liegt es etwas erhöht von der Hauptstadt isoliert.
Zum Komplex gehören im Hauptblock ein Auditorium, Unterrichtsräume und Verwaltung, sowie durch eine Brücke mit dem Hauptblock verbundene Industriewerkstätten. Ausgebildet wurden hier Berufsschul-Lehrkräfte für technische Berufe. Das im Hintergrund sichtbare 16-stöckige ehemalige Wohnheim für Studierende beherbergt derzeit Geflüchtete aus Abchasien.

The Industrial Pedagogical Technicum, completed in 1978, is a small specialty in late Soviet Constructivism / Modernism. Designed by a relatively unknown architect, Nikoloz Lasareishvili, there is little information in local archives, and the now-removed sculpture reveals no working-class heroism. In addition, it is located isolated from the capital.
The complex includes an auditorium, classrooms and administration in the main block, as well as industrial workshops connected to the main block by a bridge. Vocational school teachers for technical professions were trained here. The 16-storey former dormitory for students visible in the background currently accommodates refugees from Abkhazia.
