Panda Photo Shoot

Video of the photo shoot with baby panda at the Chengdu Giant Panda Breading and Research Center. Shot with a GoPro video camera and slightly edited with iMovie

The cost in 2012 was 1300 RMB or $220 USD paid in CASH only. Payment is considered a donation to help support the center.

Each person receives 1 minute with a baby panda. If you are traveling with a companion, you can make a quick group shot.

You give your camera to a staff member to take pictures of you while holding the panda. Our photographer took many shots in different compositions - landscape and portrait. The staff photographer did not adjust camera setting, so set your camera to the mode you want before you hand it to the him or her.

We all agreed this experience was one of the highlights of the trip.
