Lawctopus Law School brings to you this video on 'Introduction to Careers in Human Rights Law', where Ujjaini Chatterjee will introduce you to human rights law and its various facets.
The video shall not only provide an insight into the financial viability of a career in human rights law but shall also highlight the available scopes and opportunities in the sphere of human rights. The webinar shall also delve into the questions of pursuing an LLM and building a human rights law resume.
About the Speaker:
Ms. Ujjaini Chatterji is an advocate based out of Delhi. She holds an LLM in Human Rights Law from the University of Nottingham for which she was awarded the GREAT scholarship and the Developing Solutions scholarship. During her course, she received another fully funded scholarship from the School of Law, University of Nottingham, to attend the Summer School for Human Rights Defenders in the Venice School for Human Rights Defenders (European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation). Apart from her scholarships, Ujjaini self-funded her entire post-graduation journey and came back with savings of about 3,000 GBP. Ujjaini invested this money to start her private litigation practice in India. Since 2019, Ujjaini has assisted Ms Indira Jaising as a Junior.
