MTB Moto whips, super fast trails, Arkansas IMBA World Summit day 2 - RWS EP9
On my second day in Arkansas, Brian and Alexander make a guest appearance! We ride Blowing Springs trail, which is fast, flowy, and scenic. After that we stumble onto a short downhill run that you need to earn your descent on.
For lunch, we eat reasonable meals while Alexander gets a ridiculous hamburger—it probably makes it into the top 5 most ridiculous sandwiches I’ve ever seen, with two grilled cheese sandwiches as the bread.
To finish off the day, we go to the Railyard, which is an amazing public bike park. I purposely did not bring my bike since I was guaranteed to get injured there, but that didn’t stop me from demoing a Specialized on some of the jumps. I would have been better off just committing to ride there in the first place.
Along the way, I meet a guy named Tanner who does the most ridiculous whips—they’re so tweaked out that they could be mistaken for turndowns or lookbacks, but they’re definitely whips!
There’s only one day left in my trip, and I’ve been left thoroughly impressed. Bentonville Arkansas is definitely committed to cycling in a huge way.
Disclosure: Arkansas State Tourism sponsored this trip. Literally, they watch Seth’s Bike Hacks and wanted me to come—coolest tourism board ever? #visitarkansas #sponsored

The town I’m staying in is Bentonville. If you like mountain biking, food, beer, or all three, you’ll love Bentonville: http://www.bentonvillear.com/
And don’t bother bringing your bike, as it’s cheaper and easier to rent one from Phat Tire: http://phattirebikeshop.com/
