المعلم "الماستر"... مدرسة حياة: Adam Tawfiq Amawi at TEDxAmmanTeachers

ارى من وجهة نظري ان واقع التعليم الحالي لا يعكس الصورة النمطية المرسومة للمعلم كالعنصر الأهم والأساسي في تربية الأجيال و صاحب الفضل في نهضة الشعب وتطوير الوطن ومصدر الفخر الذي بالكاد يشعر به المعلم ذاته.
لطالما كنت اشعر بالسعادة والرضا من ثقة و محبة تلاميذي عند اقرارهم بالاثر الذي اتركه فيهم. تعلمت من طلابيأن دور المعلم لا يقيده موضوع أكاديمي يلقي فيه معلومات، ولا يتوقف عند حدود غرفة الصف أو اسوار المدرسة، وأن علو مكانة المعلم سببها قدرته على التغيير في الآخرين. أؤمن بأن المعلم مفهوم جامع للمدرس ملقي المعارف والمعلومات، والقدوة مصدر الأمان صاحب المثل العليا ، والصديق الصادق الأمين. إتقان كون الإنسان معلما يعني الإهتمام بإتقان تعليم كل ما من شأنه إصلاح و تغير المجتمع نحو الأفضل وبذلك فالمعلم ليس بحاجة الى تأهيله ليكون قادرا على التعليم فقط بل على تأهيل جيل جديد من المعلمين !

From my humble experience as a physical education teacher and sports coach, I see the current image of teaching as not at all reflective of the classical and original image.

A teacher is the main element in raising generations, one of the main reasons behind a student's success, an individual contributing in the development of our country and the main source of pride that many teachers sadly, do not feel anymore...

I learned from my students that a teacher's role is not only inside the classroom or behind school walls, and that a highly ranked teacher is one that possesses the ability to change others.

The term "Teacher" is a compound concept of a knowledge tutor, a role model with high principles, a source of safety and a true honest friend.

To master the art of teaching can be a cause of changing society into a better place.
So a teacher does not only need to be rehabilitated and supported to teach, but also to be prepared for the rehabilitation of a new generation of teachers.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
