President Rodrigo Roa Duterte led the campaign rally for the political party Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) at the Alonte Sports Arena in Biñan City, Laguna.

In his message to the Filipino people, President Duterte cited that majority of the landmark bills that he pledged in his campaign and in his State of the Nation Address (SONA) were signed into laws, including the Universal Health Care (UHC) Act, among others.

"Alam mo, ang TRAIN… nangako ako sa inyo. Wala akong pangako na hindi ko natupad except yang EDSA. Nangako ako ng free tuition, nandiyan na ang batas. Nangako ako ng free universal health care, pirmado ko na ang batas," he said.

The President also appealed to the people to vote and choose wisely their candidates based on their track record and their accomplishments for the betterment of the country.

“Mag-idol kayo yung totoo. Huwag kayo mag-idol na... Iyon talagang may nakita ka na may ginawa para sa ating bayan, iyon ang idol niyo, iyon ang iboto niyo,” he said.

Aside from the PDP-Laban senatorial slate, other guest senatorial candidates, who were personally chosen by President Duterte, were also in attendance during the event.
