Like countless people across the globe, I am a fan of Disney movies and by extension the Disney songs. In their own manner, there is a sort of magic to Disney songs much like there is a magic to legendary songs where originals practically can’t be topped.

However, it is most definitely possible to top the original of a Disney song but it is also very possible and quite likely that there won’t be this same magic to a cover that most of us experienced in our childhood. Who hasn’t had their own dramatic reenactment of these songs while watching these movies as a child?

Katrina Velarde is a new introduction to this channel and I must say she has now had a very strong and solid introduction with this smashing cover of “Go The Distance”. In my taste, this song is arguably the worst song in the movie but hearing Katrina’s cover of the song made all other songs pale in comparison.

Katrina Velarde can most definitely go the distance~ ^^
