How hard is it to be an elite cyclist? Jamie heads off on a cycling training camp to find out how hard it is to follow an elite cyclist training plan, is this brutal cycling training plan a surefire way to improve your FTP and get faster on the bike? Jamie doesn't have an elite cyclist FTP but can he still improve using this Endurance cycling training?

The cycling training camp includes polarized training, sweetspot efforts and plenty of other intervals of pain, will Jamie make it through the 28.5-hour pro cycling training plan?

Day 1
5 Hours
(Z2/3) Do not exceed 80% Max HR
Consume 60g Carbs/hour

Day 2
4 Hours
(Z2 W/ 4x15mins @90%CP)
Consume 80g Carbs/hour

Day 3
5 Hours
(Z2/3) - Do not exceed 80% Max HR
Consume 60g Carbs/hour

Day 4
Rest Day
(90 minutes Z1/2) with cafe stop
Consume 40g Carbs/hour

Day 5
4 Hours
(Z2 W/ 4x15mins @90%CP)
Consume 80g Carbs/hour

Day 6
6 Hours
(Z2/Tempo on climbs)
Consume 60g Carbs/hour

Day 7
2 Hours
(Z2 W/ 20 minute race simulation max effort)
