United for Jamaica (Full Documentary)

En 1998, trois jeunes amateurs de reggae originaires d'Aubagne (France) se rendent en Jamaïque. Ce voyage sera la source dont jaillira “Kabba Roots”, une association ayant pour mission de développer et de promouvoir la culture jamaïcaine au-delà de ses frontières ainsi que d'organiser des échanges inter-culturels. Amis depuis plus de 15 ans, ils se lancent une fois de plus dans un autre voyage en 2015, mais cette fois-ci, afin de donner vie à leur initiative la plus folle. Ils veulent étendre et solidifier leur soutien à la Jamaïque en achetant un terrain au milieu du ghetto de Rockfort à Kingston et en construisant un centre culturel pour la communauté. Le documentaire "United for Jamaica" réalisé par Charles Perez et produit par Blackstone Productions est un regard privilégié sur les coulisses de cette construction.

In 1998, three young reggae enthusiasts from Aubagne (France) travel to Jamaica. The trip inspired the creation of Kabba Roots, an association with the mission of developing and promoting Jamaican culture beyond its borders as well as organizing intercultural exchanges. Friends for over 15 years, they embark yet again on another trip in 2015, but this time, in order to bring to life their craziest initiative. They want to extend and solidify their support for Jamaica by purchasing land in the middle of the Rockfort ghetto in Kingston, and building a cultural center for the community. The documentary "United for Jamaica" directed by Charles Perez and produced by Blackstone Productions is an inside look into the construction of the community center.
