Will He Climb the Highest Peak in Every Country? || Country High Points Series Part 2
No one has ever reached the highest point of every country in the world. Will anyone ever? I'm not so sure. But if there's anyone that has a legitimate chance, it is Eric Gilbertson.
As of November 2020, Eric is 34 years of age and has climbed 119 country high points - the third most of anyone in the world. Eric's twin brother Matthew has climbed 91 high points. Often, they climb together.
In part 2 of this multi-part series I sat down (virtually) with Eric and we talked about logistics, planning, cost, and his experience climbing technical Asian peaks.
