Traveling to The Bahamas on a budget:Atlantis, Nassau, Swim with the pigs in Exuma & more☺️ #bahamas

Welcome back everyone, this video is bit of a throwback. Ill be talking about my trip to The Bahamas that I did last year February 2020, right before the lockdown. this trip was a bit impromptu and so it was done on a budget and ill be taking you thru that budget step by step.

My friend and I tried our best to go to as many of the islands as possible, we went to the Atlantis on paradise Island where I enjoyed all the different slides as well as saw the ruins of the Atlantis, we swam with the pigs and fed the sting rays and the sharks over in Exuma at Ship Channel Cay. We visited some historical sites like Queens Staircase, John Waltings rum distillery and went site seeing to Versalis Gardens.

While we were there it was the beginning of the carnival season and we went to a Junkanoo festival, we visited the Ardastra Wildlife Centre where we saw some of Bahamas endangered species( black swan, trumpeter hornbill, serval cat etc) and also their national bird the flamingo.

We took the ferry and went to Habour island and Eleuthera where we saw some of nature greatest wonders like the pink sand beach and the glass window bridge respectively.

I know all of that was a mouthful but yea we definitely were true tourists, now the breakdown of the cost:

Plane tickets: round trip Mobay to Miami $180US
Airbnb hold uo to 4 guests :$75US/night
Miami to Bahamas round trip : $270US
Atlantis Aquaventure day pass: $135US
Brunch at fusion edge( bottomless mimosas) : $25US
Trip to Exuma swim with the pigs, stingray and sharks as well feed the iguanas: $220US (all inclusive of alcoholic beverages plus lunch and snorkeling)
Ferry to Habour Island and Eleuthera ( inclusive of lunch and a history tour plus golf cart to get around) : $184US
