originally mixed 6/1/21, this video was filmed mid/late September 2022.
[4:25] Dip dyeing
100 mL of the old stock
16 cups of water + 3 T white vinegar + 100 mL of dye
+ 1 T vinegar after dip dyeing for a bit because the color was striking pretty slow
Heat for 30 minutes, add a lot of vinegar and let it cool in the dyebath
[11:41] Depths of Shade on Mini Skeins
1 cup of water in each jar, add enough for 0.25% DOS -2% DOS
20 g yarn + 1 tsp white vineagar, heat set on the stove
[14:58] Washing the yarn
[16:57] What Color was Stuck to the sides of the stock bottle?
16 cups of water + vinegar + 100 g knitpicks stroll yarn
heated until all color absorbed
[17:47] 1% DOS mixed from Dye Powder
on swish dk
16 cups of water + 4 T white vinegar
