It’s one of those ones that you see and you’re like “psh, I can do that - it looks easy” and then you try it and you’re like WHAT IS HAPPENING lol
That pretty much sums it up 😇
Place the ball underneath one knee in the ball fours position. Do not let the foot of the knee on the ball rest - instead press it up against the side of the inside of the closest shoulder block for a bit of support - but the foot is elevated off the carriage bed.
When performing the tripod pushups, the straight leg acts like a teeter totter - everything stays in a straight line. When doing leg lifts don’t allow the back to arch - movement comes from the glute.
The opposite arm/leg reach hold is VERY challenging. If needed, keep the back extended leg down, and just elevate the arm - this will still be challenging but with some stability help. Super advanced is to lift both arm and leg off and hold.
For the side plank series, it’s actually fun! (At least I think so 🤭)
Keep the trunk in place, nice and square to the wall you are facing. Bend/extend the knees in and out, adding the top arm reach overhead as you extend.
When adding the pike, create a slight rotation in the torso to square the chest to the legs, hiking the hips up but keeping the upper body strong.
Combine the two movements together to work coordination as well.
I did this entire thing on one blue spring - if you need to add an extra spring during the all 4s section just to help feel more confident u til you feel secure doing the movement, feel free to do so. Otherwise, everything on one blue here!
