Jalapeno (pronounced as "Halapenio") is an instant-kill plant available in Plants vs. Zombies 2. When planted, he will explode and cover the lane he is placed on in fire, dealing 1800 damage per shot to and removing all ice-based effect from every enemy in the lane. He costs 100 gems to obtain.

Torchwood is a premium plant appearing in Plants vs. Zombies 2.
Torchwood lights regular peas that pass through him, turning them into fire peas. These fire peas deal twice the damage of normal peas, but also removes all ice-based effect from the target, such as Iceberg Lettuce's freezing and Winter Melon's chilling effect. Frozen peas fired by Snow Pea will thaw, becoming normal peas and losing their slowing ability.

Hot Date is a special-edition premium plant in Plants vs. Zombies 2, tied to the 2017 Valenbrainz event. If a zombie one lane above or below gets close enough to a Hot Date, they will switch lanes to the lane the Hot Date is on, similar to the Sweet Potato. He will also explode like a Jalapeno once eaten.
