세 아이와 시애틀 도심 완전 정복

On Day 2 of their Seattle trip, the Darimi family explored downtown Seattle with kids in tow, using public transportation and strollers. Highlights included Pike Place Market, street performers, a chowder lunch at Pike Place Chowder, a Native American cultural festival near the Space Needle, and splashing at the International Fountain. Though the day was long and hot, it was filled with memorable moments, beautiful weather, and cultural experiences. This walking-heavy trip also gave the family a glimpse into what a future Europe trip with kids might require.
시애틀 여행 2일차, 다리미 가족은 아이 셋과 함께 유모차를 끌며 시애틀 다운타운을 도보로 여행했어요. 파이크 플레이스 마켓, 길거리 공연, 클램차우더 점심, 스페이스 니들 인근 원주민 문화 축제, 인터내셔널 분수대 등 다양한 명소를 경험했습니다. 날씨는 화창했고, 하루 14,000보를 걸은 여정은 가족 모두에게 기억에 남을 하루였습니다. 이 여행을 통해 앞으로 계획 중인 유럽 가족 여행의 현실도 체감하게 되었어요.

오늘은 버스를 타고 시애틀 다운타운으로 떠나요!

This is Pike Place Market, and it's packed!   
여기는 파이크플레이스 마켓이에요, 사람이 정말 많아요!

It was Memorial Day weekend, so the market was packed.
메모리얼 데이 주말이라 시장에 사람이 정말 많았어요.

 We saw the first Starbucks, but the line was too long!   
스타벅스 1호점을 봤지만 줄이 너무 길었어요!

The market was full of fresh flowers, seafood, and local crafts.
시장에는 신선한 꽃, 해산물, 지역 공예품이 가득했어요.

We enjoyed the ocean view at Victor Steinbrueck Park.
빅터 스타인브룩 공원에서 바다 전망도 봤어요.

We even saw a massive cruise ship — maybe headed to Alaska!
거대한 크루즈도 봤는데 아마 알래스카행이겠죠?

Walking to the deck, we passed street musicians and artists.
데크로 가는 길엔 거리 음악가와 예술가들이 있었어요.

 Time for clam chowder at the famous Pike Place Chowder!    
파이크 플레이스 차우더에서 클램차우더 먹는 시간이에요!

We tried the famous Pike Place Chowder — totally worth the wait!
유명한 파이크 플레이스 차우더도 먹었는데 기다린 보람이 있었어요!

 We walked to the Space Needle – the weather is perfect!  
스페이스 니들까지 걸어왔어요! 날씨가 정말 좋아요!

 There's a Native American festival across the street!  
길 건너편에서는 원주민 축제가 열리고 있어요!

Traditional dances, music, and booths were everywhere.
전통 춤과 음악, 다양한 부스가 있었어요.

 Kids are playing at the Artist Playground now.
  아이들이 아티스트 놀이터에서 신나게 놀고 있어요.

At Artist at Playground, the kids played and adults rested.
아티스트 앳 플레이그라운드에서 아이들은 놀고 어른들은 쉬었어요.

Seattle Center really feels like the heart of the city.
시애틀 센터는 정말 도시의 중심 같았어요.

Look at this huge fountain! So refreshing!  International Fountain!
 이 큰 분수대 좀 보세요! 시원해요!

The kids ran around barefoot, cooling off from the heat.
아이들이 맨발로 뛰어다니며 더위를 식혔어요.

After 14,000 steps, we’re finally heading home.   14,000보를 걷고 이제 집으로 향해요.

It was an unforgettable and happy trip to downtown Seattle.
잊지 못할 행복한 시애틀 다운타운 여행이었어요.
