Make better photos for image transfer

Many people ask me about the quality and editing of the image they need for image and photo transfer using their gelli plate. Obviously the quality matters for gelli monoprints. DIY your Photos that are clear and have a lot of contrast are easier to work with when doing gelli photo transfer. Sometimes I transfer images that are very dark, but I mostly use these type of images if I want them to stand out over the background. All of these are obviously great gel plate printing techniques and work great with any mixed media technique. So you can also use images that are not as dark with high contrast.
And you can even use color photos. you can learn how to edit the photos using a photo editor like gimp. The editing photo tutorial is part of my online class. Today we will see how to choose, take and transfer family photos, travel photos and still life photography. We will also talk about vintage photography and good photography. For me, image transfer is a great way to display my photos in a very interesting way and also create art pieces like wall decor, gift cards, greeting cards, office decoration, and you can diy everything, you don't need to buy anything, its all hand made. Hand made printing techniques are so unique and interesting not to say satisfying.
