I hope you all enjoy this relaxing ASMR video where I make and eat a delicious Apple Cheese Torte from my Wisconsin cookbook.

Apple Cheese Torte Recipe from Trillium Bed and Breakfast in La Farge, Wisconsin, USA.

Crust:
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour

Filling:
8-ounce package cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Topping:
4 cups peeled, sliced Wisconsin baking apples (or what's available)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
whipped cream, optional

Crust: Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla; blend in flour. Spread on bottom and sides of 9-inch springform pan. Set aside.

Filling: Cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour over crust.

Topping: Toss together apples, cinnamon, and sugar. Arrange over filling and sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 400 degrees and bake for an additional 20 to 25 minutes (check at 20 minutes to make sure you don't burn it!). Serve cold, garnished with whipped cream if desired. Serves 8 to 12.
