US recognizes Myanmar repression of Rohingya as genocide | DW News

The US has formally recognized the Myanmar army's campaign of violence against the country's Rohingya minority as genocide. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the assessment was based on interviews with Rohingya refugees in neighboring Bangladesh.
