Shutter Speed EXPLAINED and BLUR - Beginner Photography Tutorial

By demand, we're going to tackle the big 3 major settings of photography.

Starting with the easiest to comprehend; shutter speed explained using some comedy and some creative examples.

As part of our, from scratch, how to get good at lighting for beginner photographers series.This will make sure that shutter speed is explained.

This assumes, you just started, most of this you'll know if you've been shooting for a while. You'll still get a few creative ideas though if you're not so new.

We can use fast shutter speed to freeze a motion in mid air. Common usage is for bird photography and sport photography, but we can also use it for levitation photography. Freezing a motion in mid air to give the illusion of levitation.

Or use a slow shutter speed to get motion blur and long exposure. This is How to get lightning photography to work for us. OR how to get that night time photography, where the cars are blurring by and we see streaks of red tail lights across a street.

Also covered are how to avoid camera shake and what lenses to use to avoid blur.
