Chasing Kingfish Pt 2 -Offshore Kingfish, Snapper and Gummy Sharks, Bass Straight Victoria

Our never say never attitude finally paid off today as we finally caught our first Victorian Kingfish, this is the 3rd of 4th pursuing these wonderful fish. Armed with live bait caught in the early morning in Western ports heads and a better knowledge base we headed out to where we'd seen Kingfish before, Cape Schanck on the tip of the Mornington Peninsula Victoria Australia.
After 3 hours of trawling around we finally had two on the bite losing one and keeping the other.
With spirits still high we ventured out deeper into Bass straight to a spot we'd saved on the sounder, catching Snapper and Gummy sharks to finish off what had already been a great day.
