In a significant escalation, PDL/TDL and other workers of the Power Development Department (PDD) announced they will go on an indefinite peaceful protest starting June 11, 2025, in response to the Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Ltd (JPDCL) issuing tenders to hire manpower on a contract basis.
