Welcome to my April Mystery Color Challenge!
In this series, I’m creating 28 unique fluid art paintings using the fantasy swipe technique.
Every painting is different, with new color combinations and themes every few days!

In this second week, we’re diving into Pearlescent paints by Amsterdam ✨
These beautiful shimmering colors create a magical effect and bring extra depth and movement to your swipe paintings. Pearlescent paints truly come to life on a dark background, where their shimmer and depth shine the most ✨

This week I’m working with 5 different pearlescent colors.
Each day I use a different color to explore its unique effect…
And in the final 2 days, I’ll combine all of them for some extra special creations!

For each painting, I use:
Black & white as a base
1 pearlescent color (different each day)
Gold spray paint to enhance the fantasy effect ✨

I swipe with both black and white so you can clearly see how each one changes the final result.

Titanium White by Amsterdam
Pearlescent Violet by Amsterdam
Deep Violet by Liquitex

MIXED:
1 part Paint / 2 parts Owatrol Floetrol / 2 parts Water

Spraypaint:
Gold Deco Spray Chrome from Action (Europe)
or Montana Gold NC Acrylic Metallic Gold

Cell activator:
1 part Oxide Black / Titanium White
3 parts Australian Floetrol
