“Happy New Year…” British HC reflects on a year of fruitful bilateral relations with India

The year 2022 proved to be a prosperous one for the international relations shared between India and the United Kingdom. As the year is coming to an end, British High Commissioner Alex Ellis reflected on a year of productive two-sided cooperation between both countries. “2022 was a great year for India and UK. On the economy, we have launched Free Trade Agreement negotiations. We have been supporting India’s rapid transition towards a green economy. Great year, much to do next year. Great year for the G20 in India. Happy New Year to all,” he said.
