These heartwarming visuals show the Indonesian boy, who once ballooned to a whopping 30st 23lbs, wearing his old t-shirt in disbelief to show his remarkable transformation.

Arya Permana, now 12, had baffled doctors three years ago when visuals of him as a morbidly obese child playing in a water tank to cool his body, had emerged from a small village of Cipurwasari in West Java province.

However, with strict diet and rigorous exercise, Arya has remarkably shed 14st.

He now stands an active 16st boy who walks three miles every day and plays badminton with his friends.
