In 1928, when Radio Ljubljana started broadcasting, there was a huge demand for radio receivers. From the early crystal sets with headphones to radios with valves and speakers, the history of radio in Slovenia underwent a transformation. In 1946, the "Radio Industrija Nikola Tesla" factory was born, and in 1947, they released the first domestically manufactured radio, the Kosmaj 47, which was affordable for everyone. Then, in 1952, the Slavček RA40 became a milestone as the first mass-produced radio receiver in Slovenia.
