First Test Drive - Volvo S90 World Launch

We visited the south of Spain to attend the world launch of the Volvo’s flagship sedan, the S90. Volvo has made it clear that intends to take on the established players in this space, particularly the Mercedes E Class and BMW 5 Series.

In our limited time with the cars we sampled the petrol T6 and diesel D5 models, the latter featuring a clever new piece of technology called PowerPulse. We also tried out the upgraded Pilot Assist software which now steers the car as speeds up to 130km/h.

We look forward to thoroughly testing the S90 when it arrives in South Africa in October this year.
