One of the dumbest ways that anybody dies in these modern times is by selfie. Not the act of taking the selfie, but by taking a selfie in an extraordinarily risky situation. The first embarrassing and dumb death on the list goes to a guy in India who was killed after trying to take a selfie with a cobra.

9: Parking Brake Fail
Driving a car can be risky business! For millions of people, it's something that must be done every day to get to work and make money! But for some, a simple drive can turn into a deadly nightmare. Nobody knows this better than the woman who ended up being run over by her own truck in a parking lot in Colorado Springs.

It's simply not feasible that everyone is going to make intelligent decisions. Take for example the man from Washington who died from an exploding lava lamp. According to NBC News, Philip Quinn was found dead in his trailer by his parents at the young age of 24 after he had placed a lava lamp on a hot stove top.
