Blues Views: Pompey v Wycombe (070523)

Last game of the season and with nothing for either side to play for except pride, it felt a little bit like we'd reached the beach already until Marlon Pack roused the fans with the first equaliser, then Paddy Lane for the second and it felt we surely must win, but not to be.
As always, we remembered those Pompey fans who are no longer with us and the players and families did a lap of appreciation at the end and for a few they'll be hearing "we've seen you before" as contracts are decided and a new squad built for next season. The summer beckons ... PuP!
