Materials Needed:
Colored craft paper
Scissors
Glue or double-sided tape
Pencil
Ruler
Green pipe cleaner or straw (for the stem)
Step-by-Step Guide:
Step 1: Cut the Petals
Take a colored craft paper of your choice.
Draw 6–8 oval or teardrop-shaped petals using a pencil.
Cut out the petals carefully with scissors.
Step 2: Shape the Petals
Use your fingers or a pencil to slightly curl the edges of each petal to give them a natural look.
You can fold them slightly in the center for a 3D effect.
Step 3: Create the Flower Center
Cut a small strip of yellow paper (around 1 cm wide).
Make small fringe-like cuts along one side.
Roll the strip tightly to form a flower center and secure it with glue.
Step 4: Assemble the Flower
Arrange the petals around the flower center in a circular shape.
Apply glue at the base of each petal and stick them one by one around the center.
Let it dry for a few minutes.
Step 5: Add the Stem and Leaves
Attach a green pipe cleaner or straw at the back of the flower as a stem.
Cut out two leaf shapes from green paper and glue them to the stem.
