This was back in a day on the Pacific Crest Trail, in Washington. I woke up at 5 by the drumming of the rain on my tent walls. I started hiking and I had only one 25 minute brake in a whole day. It was wet and cold, my jacket put me down, I was miserable. Finally, when I came to the shelter all the spots inside were taken. So I had to sleep outside. Luckily there were some native people there, a Medicine man and his nephew. They've put on the fire and the rain stopped. Definitely not the best day on the trail, but chat with native Americans made up for it :)
