Phylum Cnidaria
You may have encountered a few cnidarians in your life by feeling their stinging sensation in the ocean. Cnidarians, made famous by the movie Finding Nemo, have unique stinging cells (cnidocytes) containing organelles that specialize in stinging you and injecting venom (nematocysts).
