Jehně Czech Word of the Day

Given it’s Pesach and Holy Week, the Czech Word of the Day is jehně which means lamb. Lamb has strong significance in both Holidays. For Pesach, the blood of the Lamb was spread over the door post so that the Angel of Death would passover that house and not take the life of the first born son. For Easter, Jesus is that very Passover Lamb, the Lamb of God, who shed His blood that we may escape the death of hell and have eternal life with Him in heaven.
