Ok, so today’s strategy works like this.

Your competitors are currently receiving a high volume of traffic, and backlinks, from a w i d e range of authoritative websites. These backlinks are pushing them further up the search engines.

So today you’re going to swoop in, and steal some of those backlinks, so it’s YOUR website that climbs the search rankings.

In addition to the organic traffic you will receive, you will also get TONS of referral traffic from the websites that USED TO link to your competitors, but are now linking to you.

So to make this work you need a 4-step plan.

1; find your competitors - you have to know who’s traffic and backlinks you want to steal

2; find their broken links - chances are, those links once pointed to content pages that no longer exists, so that gives you a golden opportunity
3; create replacement content - because you know that other sites WANT to link to it, the content was in demand, so now you can create your own version

4; replace the broken links - now you know WHERE the broken link exists, you just have to tell the webmaster and provide a replacement.

This works because webmasters don’t like having broken links on their websites because it negatively impacts their search engine position.
