Tensar TriAx Geogrid Project Profile: Northpointe Subdivision

Pulte Group, the contractor, encountered soft soils during excavation. Due to cold weather, the Village of Plainfield does not allow lime stabilization after October 15th. A Tensarrepresentative visited the site and determined the subgrade CBR to be 2%. A solution using TX5 Geogrid required no undercut to stabilize the subgrade and allow the construction of the pavement section on top.
