Yermo, CA to Green River, WY - Trainhopping Nevada and Utah

Upon reaching Barstow I got a hotel room and rested for a day. The following afternoon I walked and hitchhiked about ten miles east to the town of Yermo where I caught Union Pacific K-LAG1 on the evening of the 6th. The route would take me northeast on the UP Cima Subdivision towards Las Vegas, NV, the Caliente Subdivision to Milford, UT, and on the Lyndyll Subdivision to Salt Lake City, UT. My original plan was to get off in Salt Lake City and then ride west across the Donner Pass to Roseville, CA. I would then work my way up to Seattle and ride the highline to Chicago. Unfortunately I fell asleep in SLC and ended up in Green River Wyoming. While in Green River I received a text from Stobe the Hobo stating that he was on his way to Chicago. I decided to take the Overland Route east and meet Stobe at the BNSF Willow Springs yard.
