Don’t Tell the Bride is a wedding show like no other; instead of the wedding you want, it’s the wedding you’ll never forget – hopefully for all the right reasons! Each episode follows a couple through the entire process of organising a wedding, but the twist is that the bride has absolutely no involvement. For better or for worse, she has agreed to hand overall control of the wedding to the groom. She has no idea where she’s getting married, who is turning up or even what she is wearing until the big day itself. The couple are separated for the month leading up to the big day and the groom has to pull off the whole thing in secret. Will the relationship survive the strain? Will the groom succeed in pulling together the perfect wedding? And is his idea of perfection anywhere near hers?

26-year-old Juan from Brighton met 25-year-old Alice England 14 months ago - it was love at first sight during a random night out in London. Alice is from Plymouth but quickly moved to Brighton to be with Juan, kissing goodbye to her fashion career and friends and taking a job as an estate agent to pay the bills. Alice gave up a lot to be with Juan, but it was worth it. Juan knows this has been difficult for Alice, so as a way of thanking her he's going to end the year with a bang and give her an extra special Christmas present - by arranging their wedding. Because this will be their first Christmas as husband and wife, he's going to take her to New York and marry her in the middle of Central Park surrounded by snow and all the New York Christmas lights. Plus, he's going to give it a theme - since she's called Alice he's going to be a make it an Alice in Wonderland wedding. So it will be an Alice in Winterwonderland wedding in NYC.
