A...Different...way to make music in Minecraft (Vanilla)

I build my note block machines in a certain way for a reason. The pulse former at the beginning is the same one used to make each of the notes play for only one tick and no longer so the same note can be played twice.

Some mishaps occur when I try to build it any other way, but sometimes having a different clocking mechanism for it is useful for preview. It is also sunken into the ground making it easier to reach the levers to program it.
