Little Tokyo / Los Angeles / February 6, 2021

Unexpected crowded hanging around low lamps at the familiar walking pavement coming weekend afternoon, youth is better than me because they have time while I have only my time in this back street of famed downtown. In the end, I try to send my time to the Lord to repair or lengthen itself because of my greed but at the same time I try to run to the back street, the street never touched by the time, instead, it does.

James 4:14 ESV
Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.

Little Tokyo (Japanese: リトル・トーキョー) also known as Little Tokyo Historic District, is an ethnically Japanese American district in downtown Los Angeles and the heart of the largest Japanese-American population in North America, It is the largest and most populous of only three official Japan towns in the United States, all of which are in California (the other two are Japan town, San Francisco and Japan town, San Jose). Founded around the beginning of the 20th century, the area, sometimes called Lil' Tokyo, J-Town, 小東京 (Shō-tōkyō), is the cultural center for Japanese Americans in Southern California. It was declared a National Historic Landmark District in 1995.
