Best Budget Phones Under £300 (Autumn 2020) | Moto, Xiaomi, Realme & more!

Reviewing the best budget smartphones of 2020 costing under £300, cheap mobiles with the greatest camera performance, gaming prowess, battery life and beyond. I've personally tested all of these phones and I'm hoping to get my hands on recent launches like the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite and Moto G9 Power, to keep you informed about my favourite devices at this price point.

We start with a look at Xiaomi's excellent Redmi Note 9 Pro and Poco X3 NFC, which pack incredible specs for this low cost. The Poco in particular is impressive value, and you can see it in my round-up of the best budget handsets under £200.

Motorola is still churning them out, with the new Moto G9 Plus proving a viable alternative to the excellent Moto G 5G Plus. Both offer a slick stock Android experience, plus dependable cameras, reliable battery life and enough grunt for gaming. Stay tuned for more on the Motorola G9 Power.

The Realme 7 Pro and X50 5G are also strong competition - in fact the Pro is one of few budget OLED phones around, alongside the Pixel 3a and Oppo Reno 2Z. All of which feature here too.
