Duran Duran live in Palermo, 1987 (RARE) [dedicated to David Zard]

Rare video from the first Italian concert of Duran Duran in Palermo, May 28th, 1987.

The show was a real, massive event (particularly for Sicily and southern Italy), and the stadium audience was literally *smoking*, despite of unusual rainy weather.

The band honored the gig in high spirits, performing amazingly all night long, which is barely caught by the longtime audio bootleg.

The original footage was professionally filmed and edited for local TV news, and it later leaked out to fans on a VHS copy.

Differently from the audio recording, no complete video recording is believed to have been made. Neither the original one survived.

This copy comes out from a old, second/third generation tape (Sorry for poor quality).

Duran Duran Italia dedicates the video to the memory of legendary tour promoter David Zard (1943-2018), responsible for the unforgettable Italian leg of the Strange Behaviour Tour.
