It's been 1 year since my mom died + a personal update

October 4, 2021, was the worst day of my life. It's the day my mom passed away and exactly one year has gone by. They say that the grief starts to lessen, or at least change, around the one-year mark and I wanted to update you on how things are going now. Has the grief lifted? Have things gotten easier?
