Ischemic Stroke 01: Introduction

In this first video on ischemic stroke, we'll look at some of the epidemiology of stroke - it's a pretty devastating disease on our population. Then we review the different kinds of stroke, noting that we'll be focusing on ischemic strokes in this series of videos. Finally, we look at what's exactly going on in that damaged tissue - namely the ischemic penumbra and changes in cerebral autoregulation.
