A Juilliard postgraduate at Tchaikovsky Competition
Originally from Xiamen of China and a Colburn graduate, Mr Fang Yan is a postgraduate currently studying at the Juilliard. He is competing in piano at the 17th Tchaikovsky Competition.
Any piano contestant got to choose from four piano brands: Steinway, Kawai, Yamaha and Chinese brand Yangtze River. Fang hasn't decided which one he wants to play when interviewed two days ago at the Moscow Conservatory named after Tchaikovsky where all the piano rounds are to take place.
