Multimodal Discourse Analysis
Language is no longer the only vehicle of discourse. Multimodality has transformed our knowledge and perception. Image, video, music, mass media, web pages... may all be combined, designed and arranged within discourse genres to convey stronger and richer meanings than language alone can convey.
